How I Style My Free People Sequin Midi Dress

There’s one time a year when it is perfectly acceptable to wear head-to-toe sparkles... the holidays! Every year I search for that perfect sequined statement piece to add to my collection. My closet has sequined jackets, dresses, skirts and purses. And believe me, when December rolls around I’m sporting them to all my holiday parties!

My wardrobe is a complete mix of new and thrifted finds. This Free People Midi Sequin Slip Dress was a thrifted score on Poshmark! Not gonna lie, it’s hard to find party dresses as stunning as this one second hand, but I promise that after a little digging you’ll find one you love.

My H&M Burgundy Satin Tuxedo Jacket was also a thrifted find, and it just so happened to match perfectly with my sequined dress. I totally didn’t plan it when I was shopping, but it was a very pleasant surprise!

Because I love going big with the sparkle, I accented my look with vintage statement earrings and a vintage rhinestone headband from Etsy.

I finished my head to toe look with red sparkly flats (also thrifted!). I’m telling you, Poshmark and Etsy are amazing for thrift and vintage shopping!
