Sparkling Blood Orange and Lavender Cocktail (Plus a Mocktail Version!)
This light and aromatic cocktail recipe is a delight for the senses. The blood orange adds a sweet and tart zing, while the lavender and vanilla are fresh and botanical. For the for the piest de resistance, we used fresh lavender that cut ourselves on a California lavender farm.
This summer cocktail is perfect for any warm weather gathering such as the 4th of July or a grown-up birthday party. Your guests will love this smooth and refreshing cocktail which you can serve with a small food bites on a charcuterie board.

Sparkling Blood Orange and Lavender Cocktail
Cocktail Ingredients List:
*Makes one cocktail
4 oz freshly squeezed blood orange juice
1.5 oz blood orange infused vodka or plain vodka
ΒΌ tsp vanilla extract
Β½ tbsp lavender syrup
Β½ tbsp honey
1/2 oz lime juice
Club soda or seltzer
Garnish with slices of blood orange and a stem of lavender.

Cocktail Mixing Directions:
Pour the fresh blood orange juice into a cocktail shaker.
Add vanilla, honey, lime juice, and ice.
Shake for about 30 seconds (or until properly chilled).
Pour into an ice-filled cocktail glass.
Top with club soda.
Garnish with slices of blood orange and a stem of lavender.
Top Tip: To get the most juice out of your blood orange (or any citrus for that matter), make sure it's at room temperature. Even better? Pop the blood orange into a bowl of warm water for a few minutes before juicing.
